Glyphs are one of the easiest and most profitable things to make through crafting. All you need to make a Glyph is 4 Runes and a Glyph Toolkit! Of course the Runes have to be able to be combined with each other and all have to be the same quality level for this to work. Further down on this page you can read all about the different Glyph Combinations but let me go into some basics now. First thing that everyone needs to know is that you can't combine Offensive and Defensive Glyphs. So that means you can't have a Glyph say high in Block and high in Crit.
Also no matter the quality of a Glyph, it is only able to be two different affixes tops. So it can only be say Crit Damage and Crit Hit or Crit Damage and Penetration Rating. It can't be Penetration Rating, Crit Damage and Critical Hit Chance though. Still on the topic of creating Glyphs I would like to say that the Toolkits color(rarity) and Quality Level directly determines the QL of your Glyph. Say this means you have all your materials and a QL10 Blue Glyph Toolkit. From this combine you will get a Blue Glyph no matter what.
It all sounds fairly basic but I know this Crafting System can confuse some new players out there so I will go over the basics often like this.
Now, the part you've been waiting for... How to make a Glyph! As with all of the other combines out there you need to put the items together in the crafting window into the shape of the item you want to make. For a Glyph you need to place the items in there in a box-like order as seen below in the screenshot.
After you've done that place your Glyph Toolkit into where it says Tool and you'll be able to see your result in the Item window at the bottom where you see the Glyph at in the screenshot. That's really all there is too crafting Glyphs in this game, and almost all items for that matter! Before ending this guide I would like to provide you with a list of all the different types of Glyphs you can make in the game. Enjoy!
